Episode Recap:

Xander continues narrating, confirming Grant’s suspicions that he was fully aware of the situation and not going to let the castaways die.  He turns his attention to Shane, who is bleeding profusely from his head.  Shane groans and turns his face towards Xander and Xander notices something about the guy.  Like it’s kind of obvious.  Shane’s obviously the worse off, so Xander shoulders him and starts for shore, all the while thinking about his cholesterol.  But Kore snags him as he goes and drags him back, she’s still loopy, but she demands a promise from Xander that he’ll make sure Shane is saved, no matter what.  Xander promises no such thing, and with a crack of lightning, just sort of vanishes, and meanwhile Kore’s bleeding fingers from holding onto the sharp rock are just sorta fixed.  Lots of just sortas.  Xander however, is taking Shane to safety, but the look on his face is telling: he’s found a new toy.  In fact, when he and Shane wash up on the beach, and Grant starts dragging Shane back to the car, Xander can only think about ‘indestructible’ Kore is, an ominous observation.  He wonders why he didn’t know about her before this.

Synopsis:

Aging telepath Evil Overlord Xander has traded his youthful dream of joining the US military and using his superpowers to benefit humanity for over-the-hill cynicism, self-imposed exile on his private zoo-for-crazy-people Eynhallow Island, and a serious case of May-December midlife crisis.  And technically it's only kidnapping if she tries to leave.

Nice development there. ^^
I like the use of narration. Something I haven't done but have considered using sometime in the future.

Incredible work with the stormy weather. Backgrounds are very challenging to draw for me personally.
But this has been a learning experience for me. As well as a fun visual journey into your story. :)
